snow day 3
so today was the 3rd day in a row that we have gotten off school! and... im not quite sure how i feel about that. i have a pretty rigorous schedule this semester and i kind of just want to get it over with, one day was nice, 2 days were kinda fun but bittersweet, 3 is too much. granted, there are some roads that are still bad so i understand why school is off, mom and i came to a road totally iced over just today. but at the same time, the more i miss school the more rushed we will be in my classes and the more homework i will have. and i do not like homework. not one bit. but, i guess i should enjoy the blessing of sleeping in while i have it!

Ahhhhh. Sweet memories. I remember well the days when your Mom was in the position of enjoying snow days, but I think she worried about when the snow days would have to be made up. Back then, the snow days weren't built in to the extent they are now. And back "then," we had snow that could keep one home-bound for two weeks. Sweet memories. I hope from now on the snow days are Saturdays.
